oh glory be the sun came out to play today!
i was up at the crack of dawn...living with two kids will do that to anyone i guess....i even had my earplugs in!
either way i looked out my window and was stunned!

so i made the most of the morning hours and took a nice walking tour of basel. meandered to get coffee and sat by the river in the sun for a while...just enjoying the quiet of the morning...
it was grand.
in the spirit of spring coming i bought a pair of sandals....but i must say that i have to paint my toenails!!
i managed to not get yelled at while at the grocery store and i overcame my fears of the produce market and got some fruits and veggies!
i did however purchase cooking raw sugar instead of regular raw sugar but sugar is sugar....
i am thinking about taking some classes in german.
it's gotten to the point where i feel as thought i should probably try harder to learn the language here.
otherwise i am just enjoying relaxing this weekend...gearing up for next weeks madness of appointments and such after the lazy week we had due to the holiday here.
