did i mention that i got my passport back?

so yes, i feel so much better now that i have the old passport in my possession!

tomorrow is my crazy appointment with some frau to see about getting this freaking flat!

it would be nice.....and i dream that one day some swiss person will find it in their heart of hearts to give me a chance on a home!

the day was good. i took the childrens to the basel natural history museum. wacky place!

it was very old.....obviously!

my camera cable is all the way in the kitchen and i am all the way upstairs so i will have to post the photos at a later time.

wolfram was pretty terrified of the giant dinosaurs!

gernot just ran around like a loon as did wolfie. i tried to show them cool geological things but they were so not interested.

it was 12 dollars!

so much for free museums!

i got to watch my program via vuze so that was nice....

my text messages are getting through again. it was a few days that people were texting me and they were not making it to my phone.

glad that's over!

did i mention how much it rains here?

i believe i have mentioned this probably everday!

no surprise there. i saw some cool boots but i will not spend any money on them.

i still need a swiss bank account because the charges for me to take out cash is over the top!

i got paid in all cash though so i have enough loot to get me through until i get an account....

i'll let you all know tomorrow how my house for rent interview went.
part of me wants to just sign a cotton pickin lease so i can just have a place to call home and i can spend time then seeking other housing if i don't like it.

only thing is, i would still need this ID in order to get the internet.

my back has been killing me. lots of hills and gernot isn't the lightest child. he's like aurelia (manda's charge).....wolfie isn't so light either!

i must be getting SO OLD and creaky!
