basel: land of no sun

so we had a good run of sun for a couple weeks but that fizzled out and it's back to chilly gloom!

GLOOM!

i really don't mind it as long as it's not pouring down the rain all day. spring here better be really GREEN and FRESH eh?

i had weird dreams last night about trains and mountains...i think reading all the history of the second world war is in wired into my brain.

i got my CD's today in the mail. this is thrilling....i was afraid they were going to charge for it but oddly they didn't.

they charged me for a customs form that said 'guitar cables'
makes me wonder how much they will charge if i ask what's his name to send my guitar!

mellow monday...didn't have to work until 1130 so i went and priced a vacuum and a boom box that plays i pods and cd's!

thankfully cd's are universal as opposed to DVD players.....

i have a phone line activated in my home but no phone to test it out with.....no internets for another week or so....

did i mention that i get to only do my laundry on the 8th and the 26th of april?
weird.

so i got me some detergents and will be doing some old fashioned scrubbing in the tub!

guess that's it. i am weaning off the fucking bread. i can already feel the difference. i have mostly only veggies and fruit at home now. phew!

of course, all things in moderation!
