are men just more reasonable than women?
i dunno. i have met some reasonable women.
either way, this morning after getting hung up on and yelled at again by mom i opted to just tell them now instead of hating going to work everyday. i told him, not her. he's far more.....reasonable.
either way, he took an hour to sit down with me and talk about it and why. how and where we may have gone wrong and also about his insane wife.
he obviously knows how she is and did try to explain her a little.
it drove home the fact that eventually i want to work with disadvantaged kids one day. i remember when i was a kid and always being passed around, there were some counselors and aides from child protective services that were rays of sunshine in an otherwise bleary life. i want to be one of those people. i KNOW i make a difference in the lives of the children i have watched and will watch but down this road of life, i know now that i want to be a force of great sunshiny energy for kids who are otherwise in a shady place.
