Brüno

oh my god!

i have never seen one episode of the ali g show and when i went to see borat i was laughing so hard i was crying.

brüno is over the top and i am not sure everyone will enjoy the humor in it but i thought it was genius.

some of it speaks to the outright anti gay sentiment of the south in america which is really quite scary and quite a reality.

the only odd thing is here they do an intermission in the middle of the movie. i think it is because there are so many smokers and also this allows for a pee/snack break. i didn't like the intermission because i like to watch the whole movie. i was glad they didn't do an intermission for 'antichrist' because to stop that would have broken up the entire flow of that film....

not saying that the intermission did that for brüno but it made it odd and it felt like it cut out a few minutes and the flow of it.

either way it was fucking hilarious and if you're into this kind of humor (preying on people that really didn't know he was making a film.....so many good things) then i suggest you go see it. much cheaper in the states. one ticket here: 18 francs. WHAT?!?!?!
