ich bin eine alte dame

so today i went to the stag of reich

at first we didn't get in the giant line to get in the building. it's free you see but not so free with all the security but it did remind me of the DC and how much of that i missed actually

some dignitary must have been going to the israeli embassy because there were LOADS of polezi in front and on tops of the other buildings around also reminding me of the DC.

i have walked a lot and seen many things. i was crying a little at this park today called 'victoria park' just listening to the waterfalls and i couldn't hear anything else.....it was nice to not hear anything but the water and see the city people walking about. then i was thinking about my whole life and now even as i write this, i get a bit weepy.

so i am not so much overwhelmed but just.....doing a lot of reflecting.

i mailed some postcards today some from munich and warsaw. i never wrote any on the krakow ones but maybe i will. still have to get berlin post cards.

tomorrow we go to the lake and relax a little outside the city. all and all very enjoyable.....
