always getting into trouble

so because no one ever put the work visa in my passport every time i try to fly in europe i get flagged and asked when i arrived. i say the date which was in february and then i have to show the swiss ID.

this is all fine but airports here are just odd. there are multiple passport controls. i have already shown my passport three times. the first time was just for boarding pass control, the second one was to get into the terminal. the last one was to get into the gate A area.

next up i will have to show it at security.

funny how america thinks they are so secure sometimes i think not so much.

i mean i am used to having to show my ID in places that's fine....but here it seems really strict!

i am curious as to passport control in poland. i have checked my bag and louis has no bags checked. also he's EU and i am not so it might take me longer to manage the controls...

so louis is fancy and we're sitting in the swiss air business lounge. might as well enjoy all the free foods and beverages. i forgot snacks!

it's weird though i am not used to such....frilly stuff...we'll be in hotels and i am used to couchsurfing and hostels....i dunno. some of me likes this kind of life but also i know it's not something i would do for myself

i just don't have the kind of salary to feel like i really belong in a place like this and i really don't know if i want to belong here. i guess in some ways it's cool cause i can be so anti this sort of life and be here anyhow enjoying the fruits of their labors.

i learned a new word today. penultimate. i didn't know what it meant. now i do. go meesh

soon we will be going onto warsaw.....i have my computer. i know i should unplug all the same i wasn't going to leave it at home or at banana's house.

oh and the mom wrote me this morning via SMS to say 'where is gernot's hat and where is wolframs bathing suit' which was fine but i know she's steaming mad because i actually forgot the top to wolfie's suit yesterday when we went to the pool.

  1. You can go even further with the *ultimate if you wish. Next on the list is antepenultimate, which is used fairly often. Then it's preantepenultimate, which is a bit rare.

I'm a word nerd, and so are you, now!
