went out and stayed in

can a person go out and stay in at the same time?

well i think i managed to do this

went to see a band named after a bob dylan song. they were ok...i really enjoyed the one song they did with an accordian, a banjo and different beats on the drums. it was slamming and then they went back to same old same old.

cost: 28 CHF

what the...??

but i met a couple cool music makers with kids even so maybe once in a while during the week i can get some english talking adult time in.

i met a mom at the starbucks but she hasn't written me nor i her but i might tomorrow just to say hello.

sunday i washed more clothes in the tub. good times.

so today i learned that i will need to also now have 'casualty insurance' for myself in case i am the cause of some kind of freak accident.

meaning, if i run in the road and cause an accident then i am at fault.

or if i say ram my fists through a window on the tram or something then yes, i am at fault and i will have to pay.
luckily i will have this insurance that will pay it for me or probably just a percentage.

when i purchase a bike...the kind of bike with old fashioned pedals, i will also be encouraged to purchase insurance for it because if caught without insurance for said bike, yes you guessed it, a ticket!

regina was right, attach a rule/law/cost to anything in switz and be pleasantly surprised when something has nothing attached to it.

oh and i got the skinny on doing the laundry.

ready for this whacked out shit:

my laundry "day" is wednesday april 8th.

starting at 6 PM tuesday the 7th (tomorrow) i can get the laundry key from Herr Onur, our building dude. i have 24 hours to use the facilities.

this is great news, right?
not so much for you see, i have to work all day wednesday but i have a really good feeling that me and gernot will be hanging out at my house on wednesday for a bit so i can do some laundry for my next laundry date is the 26th of april.

next post on the forum i am on?

where are the coin laundries, if any, in switzerville!

oh and my land line doesn't work. i sort of expected that to happen when i plugged in my new phone i got today.

good news: ticket to interlaken 55 CHF. hostel for two nights: 48 CHF so all in all not too shabby to soak in the beauty of the alps. not quite sure if i will ski...i haven't been on a slope in ages...meaning since i was around 17 years old....so yeah, half my life ago!

oh and i got "caught" at the kinder hospital today taking photos of their weird signs.
i'll upload and post them later.
the look on the lady's face....priceless....

i knew there was one more thing. apparently my work visa status being the F status is apparently for people seeking asylum in switzerland!

that's me to a tee.....

the weather is great though...trees budding flowers blooming...

one other thing...around the kids instead of saying 'mother fucker' i say simply "MF" so i think i say this a lot today gernot wolfie and i were walking back to the tram to go home after gernot's OT and gernot says out of nowhere 'meshell, MF'. i gave the kid a mother fucking high five.
