dear switzerland.....

so my phone jack doesn't work but they have all the 'connections' running to it so now i either need to find out who had the last swiss com number in that flat or i have to call the electrician provided to me by the rental agency to come and wire the jack to the swisscom box.

i did get my modem today from the post office so that's cool.

maybe after easter i will have a working phone line in my unit.

who knows.

the weather is great.

i did a 'secret' load of laundry but i was in such a hurry that i forgot to put in the detergent but this is ok. i really think i don't care much anymore...i will get used to wearing clothes over and over again!

at least they were shuffled around in the washer....

gernot was a bit cranky today and had a nice meltdown in the store. i guess they do tend to wake up around 4 or 5 in the morning so around 11-12 they both get a little wiped out.

but since naps are now we'll be able to go back to the cool park after they get up.

it's so very nice out today!

there are great magnolia trees blooming and i saw even a few cherry blossom trees yesterday by the river.

OH MY GOD--

i totally forgot to mention that while gernot was in OT me and wolfie went for a walk on the river and we walked up on this bench and i thought the guy was naked but wasn't sure but well, got a little closer and sure enough, this 70 year old man was buck naked laying on a bench....good LORD....and beyond him under a bridge of sorts were a bunch of other older men and women completely naked and sun bathing.

really reminded me that i was in europe....

i averted my eyes but wolfram was pretty good at staring so we went up the next flight of stairs i saw and walked back on the path above the river!
