almost full day with kiddos!

today i got to bond more with the kids. this was good.

woke up and mom went to do some things like wash the car or something while i walked to the big migros near their house. they check all credit cards with ID and i totally spaced that my passport (the real deal) was en route to where they make my swiss ID and so i of course got yelled at again in german and the nice lady behind me told me i had to get cash out of a machine to pay.

so the cashier saved my stuff and i got some cash out and was able to purchase my items. now my DC ID is in my wallet!

at least at the boarder if i get stopped i can explain this to the boarder patrol.

it's all weird.

anyhoo, gernot is very curious and i had to use my stern voice a bit to say things like 'halt' to get him to not go up the freaking escalator at the giant migros shopping center. jeesh.

so that was a fun journey and then it was naps and i watched LOST which was by far one of the creepier episodes....i liked it so much and can't wait until next thursday!

then this afternoon we drove over to the kinderhospital where gernot has his many appointments and i met the speech therapy lady (mrs ernst) and me and wolfram (love their names...wolfram???) and i played by the river throwing rocks and bread for the birds. pretty fun.

got gernot from speech and trying to learn the elevators here and the fact that i still don't really know what the fuck i am doing but either way....

found him!

got on the 15 tram and went back home and i started teaching them the english!

gernot got a few words and i was very impressed. i did some dancing and goofing off and so on!

i will work more than what my contract says.....bullocks! but whatever. i will be kept busy no doubts there.

i found a mother fucking jar of peanut butter...now i just need to find a real loaf of sandwich bread....everyone eats uncut loaves of bread and well i want a PB and J sammich!

i got some spinach (YUM) and some grapefruit juice (YUM) and more things that are not bread and freaking jam. jeesh.

so i am tired today but happier than i was the other day when i was a blubbering cry baby who wanted to go home to the dee cee.

i marveled today that i was in fact in europe....that it is old....that it is cool....that the swiss looked at me like i was insane while chasing the kids around and having fun. do they not have fun here? only at home maybe? who knows. i am weird, i know this and i really could care less what anyone thinks so....

this weekend should be fun. not sure the agenda but should be a treat of course anywhere is neat here i think.

so that's it for now i will post some photos in a bit.

i have to attempt laundry tonight which tamara says takes two hours in the washer. huh? they do not dry their towels in the dryer which i think is weird because who wants a scratchy towel after a warm shower? not me.

tomorrow morning i take gernot and wolfie to their play group and i drop gernot off and me and wolfie will go to the post office after i get some chocolate for henry and cat and some people chocolate for malcolm and leo.

i pray kinder eggs make it to brian.....if anyone wants anything in particular email me or leave a comment.
